Sam and Merry had a WONDERFUL time in Penzance. Seriously - they LOVED being in Auntie Clare's house with all its lovely soft carpets to roll about on. Sam loved the sea views and was particularly enthralled with the large white noisy birds. I was actually shocked at how quickly they both settled in considering cats are supposed to like routine.
The bad news ... Merry yowled ALL THE WAY THERE AND ALL THE WAY BACK. 300 miles. Six hours. Non stop.
